Led by the return of Adam Hughesman, one of the leading power play goal scorers in the WHL,

The Tri City Americans held off a determined Vancouver Giants squad Tuesday night on the road in British Columbia.  After a scoreless first, and deep into the second, the Am's struck on the power play, leading 1-0 after two periods.  Hughesman tallied twice on power plays in his first game back after missing 15 contests with a knee injury.  Hughesman's return completes the Am's return to health.  In early February, Tri City was missing the services of Goalie Drew Owsley, Neil Prokop, Hughesman, Justin Feser and Mason Wilgosh.   The Ams are getting healthy at the right time.  Their chance for the sweep continues wednesday night, pregame 6:45, puck drop at 7:05 on Newstalk 870.  Streaming at newstalk870.am
