Spokane-Area Tech Firm to Close By End of the Year
This week a WARN Alert from WA State Employment Security incidates Servatron, located in the Spokane Valley, will close up shop by December 31st.

The Spokane and Kootenai County Journal of Business says the company, originally a part of a Liberty Lake utility tech firm, was sold to a British company in 2019, and now they are consolidating the WA operations to CA.
A Total of at Least 124 Jobs Going Away
Founded in 2000 by Liberty Lake-based Itron Inc. Servatron manufactured circuit boards, what are known as box buiilds, and other electronics.
The Journal says parent company Volex says there's too much excess manufacturing space between Spokane and another location in Irvine, CA. and they are choosing to close Spokane. They said it was made to "optimize" its US manufacturing footprint.
No word if the current business climate in WA was a factor in choosing to close Spokane, while shuffling more production to the CA location.
