Teenage Driver Slams Stolen Mini Van Into Stop Sign in Kennewick
Kennewick police are looking for at least one or more juvenile offenders who stole a mini van similar to this one, but obviously flunked their driving test when they slammed it into a stop sign.
Tuesday evening, the vehicle was reported stolen from the 100 block of West Columbia Drive. Then a few minutes later, the 1997 Dodge Caravan was seen slamming into a stop sign at the intersection of 6th. and Cedar Streets, next to Layton Park. That's roughly a half mile at least from where it was stolen.
Witnesses saw several people flee the van, described as juvenile age, but not much of a description was available. Kennewick police say they have some leads but are looking for more information. Anyone with any details is asked to call (509)-628-0333.
And perhaps give these dummies some driving lessons in a vehicle that's not stolen.
