Thieves Steal Candy From Little League Kids, Caught with Meth
Stealing candy from kids is low, really low. Well, karma got the best of two candy thieves trying to steal from little league kids in Kennewick on Tuesday.
Kennewick police got reports of a robbery in progress at the convenience store at the little league building on S Olympia St.
When officers arrived the found 45 year old Lonny Barton and 26 year old Kelsey Sharp inside, according to reports.
They were allegedly found trying to steal two dozen bags of sunflower seeds, dozens of Pixy Stix, bubblegum, suckers, two protein shakes, Washington State University merchandise, and electronics.
The pair was also found with meth and needles on them.
They were arrested for Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked into jail.
