As we approach Black Friday and Cyber Monday, online shopping will be at its annual peak. And while online shopping has grown in popularity over the years, it became even more popular when covid hit and nobody wanted to get out in those nasty, germ Laden stores!

But online reports say that more people will be Black Friday shopping in person this year than they did last year. I still find myself wandering through Walmart once in awhile, and naturally, we go to the grocery stores.

But so many things that we used to buy in stores we now buy only online, like coffee. We always buy Amazon brand coffee, and it's really quite good! Naturally, it's cheaper too or we wouldn't bother. Toilet paper, paper towels, and dog food are other things we always purchase online these days.

In the 1967 film below, it's cool to see that they accurately predicted online shopping for the future! They also correctly predict online schooling and 'instant electronic correspondence' (email). As far as how the cars of the future will look? Well, they kind of missed that one as it looks like something out of a Jetsons cartoon.

The funniest part is when the wife shops online, the husband must then use a computer to pay for the items with something called a 'debit.'
