“Thor” Busted After Hammer Threats, Brawl With Pasco Police
His hammer certainly didn't work like Thor's in Avengers. In fact, the only avenging came from Pasco Police. They've released information about an incident last week
His 'useless' Thor hammer and scissors were returned to the construction site.
WHAT WAS SUSPECT DOING?
Thursday Oct. 21 around 11AM 25-year-old Taylor Lee Pettit of Prosser was confronted by a man doing home renovations on a structure in the 600 block of West Bonneville.
The man arrived to work on the home, but found Pettit inside, at which time the suspect threatened the 36-year-old worker with a large hammer and some scissors.
The man left the vacant house and called Police, who were able to locate the suspect near 10th and Clark. Because of probable cause involving the victim, Police were able to move in fast.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Apparently, Pettit thought his hammer was like the one in Avengers, he was Thor and he decided to brawl with Police. He did kick an officer, and continued to kick at the window of the patrol vehicle after he was 'subdued'. He's now facing a pair of Assault Charges for the threats to the worker and brawling with Police.
His 'useless' Thor hammer and scissors were returned to the construction site. Speaking of strange occurrences...
