Whether you're looking for temporary or substitute work, or a permanent gig, Richland, Pasco and Kennewick want to know if you've got a good driving record. If so, they need you!
According to YakTrinews.com, all three area school districts are facing what is described as a serious shortage of drivers. Much of it is due to increasing enrollments in the area, a lot more kids to transport, more routes etc.
Kennewick and Richland are each looking to hire at least 10 drivers, Kennewick temporary substitute employees who will have to earn permanent status, while Richland only looking for permanent drivers. Pendleton is also looking, they're so short-staffed they're offering up to a $250 bonus for new drivers once they pass the criteria.
