Truck Driver Doesn’t See Car When Changing Lanes in Pasco
Imagine a semi-truck pulling a trailer moving into your lane, right at your car. One Kennewick man doesn’t have to imagine any more.
Armando Fabian-Estrada, a 34-year-old man, was driving a green 1996 Nissan Maxima west on state Route 12 near Lewis Street in Pasco Monday evening.
His car was hit when a black 2016 Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer changed lanes, according to the state patrol.
He was hurt and taken to Lourdes Medical Center. His status is not known.
The truck driver is 37-year-old Jerado Ramos from Burbank.
The WSP said Ramos wasn’t paying attention when he changed lanes and they wrote him a ticket for failure to yield the right of way.
