Video Captures Converter Theft Suspects in Kennewick

Kennewick Police are seeking more tips and information related to an alleged catalytic converter theft attempt on May 28th.

  Two thieves broke into an automotive compound located at 700 North Hartford St. just off Columbia Drive.

Kennewick Criminal Detectives say the two entered the area, then attempted to steal several catalytic converters from vehicles.

Officers did not say if they were successful, it appears from the video perhaps they were not. But apparently from the video, it appears they were clearly attempting to do so. They looked underneath several of them.  The area of the theft location is pictured below.

No word if there are any other leads, but KPD is seeking to ID these two. Anyone who may have information, you're urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.
