Kennewick police and U.S. Marshalls got more than they expected when a fugitive was arrested in Kennewick Monday.

Shortly before 2pm, U.S. Marshalls went to the Quality Inn on Quinault Ave. in Kennewick, looking for a suspect.   A clerk alerted them to a man who was acting suspiciously, and the suspect was sighted.  He attempted to flee in his car, but after abandoning his car in the Benton County Justice Center parking lot,  he was captured by police near TJ Maxx on Columbia Center Blvd.

22-year-old Sharte S. Dashon Kimble of Yakima was arrested, and it turns out he had 9 outstanding warrants!  They included felony eluding,  possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a firearm because he was a convicted felon.

Officials also learned he was reportedly trafficking women for purposes of prostitution out of the Quality Inn.   Police also arrested 18-year-old Sydney Inez Quinn, also of Yakima on charges of alleged prostitution, and a Walla Walla man was arrested for patronizing a prostitute and false reporting.

The suspects have all been booked into the Benton County jail.
