Wapato Man Dies After He Was Stabbed by Men Demanding Cash, Police Seek Suspects
A 51-year-old man died after he was stabbed in front of his home in Wapato.

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies and Wapato Police were called to the 200 block of West C Street last Thursday at about 9 pm. Upon arrival, they found Daniel Torres-Nateras had been stabbed. He collapsed on the floor.
Witnesses saw two people running away from the residence.
According to witnesses, two people approached the home demanding money from Torres-Nateras. A fight followed with Torres-Nateras being stabbed in the altercation.
The suspects took off on foot.
