A teenager from Ferndale Washington killed his father in an argument and them kept his body in the garage for maybe weeks. Ferndale police got reports that members of a 65 year old William Koop Jr's family had not seen or heard from him in weeks and sent officers to his home to check on him according to news reports. When officers got to the home, his son told officers that his fathers body was in the garage.

His son told police they had gotten in an argument over bills and said he then hit his dad on the head and knocked him out. Then police say he beat his unconscious father in the head with a hammer, a flashlight, and the bottom of a telephone. The son was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked on $1,000,000 bail.
