It's the season for lots and lots of packages to be mailed out from Amazon, but be aware of this new Amazon.com email scam.

Scammers are sending out emails that look like emails from Amazon. The emails will messaging will be "your Amazon package wasn't delivered" or "package cannot be delivered".

Amazon is warning consumers not to click through on "confirm account". Be aware of anything that asks for your personal information and be extra vigilant this holiday season.

Here is what Amazon is saying if you get an email that looks suspicious...

“If you received an email regarding an order you didn’t place, the email likely wasn’t from Amazon.com,” the online retailer warns customers on its website. “Please send the email as an attachment to stop-spoofing@amazon.com.”
