West Richland Man Still in Jail Over Shooting Up House After Party
A man is still in the Benton County jail after authorities say he shot up a house and property on Bombing Range Road after a party.
On November 4, Blake Walters was leaving a party at a home in the 800 block of Bombing Range road when he apparently got stuck, high centered on a mound of dirt. According to West Richland police, after all the other people left, Walters got a rifle from his vehicle and began to fire rounds at the home and other areas of the property.
Not sure why he did it, but police are holding him during the investigation. Apparently other guns were seen in the vehicle, and it (along with the weapons) are included in the search.
Maybe he got bored, but allegedly shooting up a house isn't a great way to spend the time waiting to get your car unstuck. We will update this story when new information becomes available.
