What does 32 pounds of meth look like?
GRANT COUNTY DEPUTIES AND STING TEAM BUST HUGE DRUG CACHE
Tuesday, the Grant County Sheriff's Office along with INET, the Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team, arrested a 42-year-old man in Mattawa in southern Grant County.
Mattawa is not THAT far from the Tri-Cities.
An investigation led to authorities making the raid, and Rigoberto Tapia was taken into custody on multiple charges. He is now in the Grant County Jail.
PIO Kyle Foreman of the GCSO said in their Sheriff's Report video that they seized 32 lbs. of meth, 25,000 Fentanyl pills, and $50K in cash. Street value of the drugs was over $2 million.
WHAT ELSE WILL BE CHARGED ON THE SUSPECT?
Besides possession with intent to deliver all these drugs, Tapia will also have these charges expanded because the home where he was arrested with the drugs (his base) is within 1,000 feet of Wahluke High School.
The investigation continues. No word if any other suspects are involved. To watch the Sheriff's Report Video, see it below.
