Now that WSU has made the move of the year in the PAC-12 by hiring former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach,  what can we be in store for over the next few years?

Lost in the excitement about bringing a coach who won 83 games in ten years, beat Nebraska once by a score of 70-10, and brought winning to Lubbock Texas, is the fact that when UW was looking to replace Tyrone Willingham, they interviewed Leach.  He was still under contract with Texas Tech, and they chose to hire Steve Sarkisian.  According to sports writers,  probably a good thing, because they believe Leach is a great fit for WSU, comparing him to the swashbuckling, outgoing, loud types who have coached in Pullman (and won) over the years;  Mike Price, hoops coach George Raveling, track coach John Chaplin.   The hiring of Leach is being compared as being just as significant as Chip Kelly at Oregon, and we see how THAT worked out.  Should be an interesting time in Pullman next fall.
