I can't believe I am about to admit this...

I have never, in my entire life had a true Philly Cheesesteak sandwich! There, I said it! That is, until today! I have friends that are from Philly and they have described these beautiful sub creations but I had never taken the opportunity to seek one out. Today I decided to do some research and find a true Philly Cheesesteak, and that I did.

What have I been doing my whole life without one of these in it? I decided to take a "working lunch" and visit Brother's Cheesesteak in Pasco, you know, for research! I found a list of restaurants that make a yummy cheesesteak but since "Brother's Cheesesteak" had cheesesteak in the name, that is where I landed for lunch. Best landing ever!  I wanted to try everything on the menu but my goal was to have a true Philly Cheesesteak.

As of right now, Brother's Cheesesteak is a walk-up window only, so I did just that! I walked up there and ordered myself a true Philly Cheesesteak! I then drove it back to the station to commence my "research." Oh. My. Goodness. Was it good! I have been told, in order to have a really great cheesesteak it all starts with the perfect roll and this, my friends, was the PERFECT roll!

It was thick, warm, and soft on the inside and toasted to perfection on the outside. The meat was precisely shaved and seasoned impeccably. It was LOADED with peppers and onions, and the cheese was broiled, giving it that mouth-watering bubbly brown crisp. The sandwich stood no chance against my hungry belly and bulging eyes! I murdered that thing!

This is just the beginning of my Philly Cheesesteak research however, I have plans to visit every establishment that makes a Philly Cheesesteak and give a full report.

Next on my list to visit include, Fost Me SweetFirehouse SubsThe Village Bistro, Foodies Too, Bruchi's, Arby's, The Palm Bar & Grill, and Player's Sport's Bar. I am sure I have missed a few, so if you have any suggestions or recommendations please feel free to message me and let me know who I missed.
