The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for our region, starting tonight (Tuesday eve). It's important because while snowfall will be minimal, we are expecting freezing rain, with up to an inch accumulation. Black ice is the dangerous and deadly road condition that causes many accidents.  See the bulletin below.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A TENTH TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 2 INCHES.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AROUND MIDNIGHT AND PERSIST
  THROUGH MIDDAY WEDNESDAY. THERE WILL BE A BREAK WEDNESDAY
  AFTERNOON AND EVENING BEFORE INCREASING AGAIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
  SOME LOCATIONS ALONG THE BLUE MOUNTAIN FOOTHILLS WILL START TO
  SEE INCREASING SOUTH WINDS AND WARMING TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY
  NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING ICE AND SNOW WILL CAUSE VERY SLICK AND
  DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR DRIVING OR WALKING.
