WWII Wings of Freedom Planes Coming to Pasco June 27th-30
Thousands of these planes once filled the skies over Europe and Asia, the Pacific and Atlantic during World War II. Many pilots flew them to ensure our freedom and that of others.
Now these vintage warbirds are coming to Pasco June 27th-30 with the Wings of Freedom Tour. These pictures are from some that we took the last time such planes were here.
Check out the interiors and outside of a fully restored Boeing B-17, B-24 Liberator (both used in Europe and Pacific as bombers) A B-25 Mitchell bomber, P-51 Mustang fighter, and new year, a rare P-40 Warhawk fighter--the ones using by the famous shark toothed painted Flying Tigers in China. Here's the schedule for displays at the Tri-Cities Airport:
