Yakima Police Arrest Suspect in Murder of 14-Year-Old

Yakima Police say they've arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the September 14 shooting death of a 14-year-old Yakima boy. Police say both teens were involved with local gangs. The suspect is expected to be charged with first and second degree manslaughter and face the charges as an adult. He's being held in the Yakima County juvenile jail.
14-year-old Charles Taylor died at a Yakima hospital after being shot in the back of the legs with a shotgun. Police have recovered the weapon and served a search warrant at the home where the shooting happened.
