The small box was found in an alley near South Beach and East Butte Streets in Pasco recently, but officials are wondering how they got from Oregon to here.

The Franklin County Coroner is attempting to locate relatives or family of a Ms. JoAnn Marie Bendell, who was apparently cremated in Milwaukee, OR in 2006.

The small brown wooden box contained her remains, and has information about Neptune Cremation Services from Milwaukee, and Wilhelm's Crematory in Portland. It appears to be an 'official' crematorium container as it contains all that state required data on the label.

However, other than that, no personal information was found. Officials are asking anyone who might have any information to call (509)-545-5885, according to Yaktrinews.com

It is possible someone was carrying them with them, and dropped the box, say officials.
