Franklin County Sheriff's say the need to pay close attention on the highway is important, even if it's late, and there's not a lot of traffic. They said often times, you will come across another driver going way under the speed limit.  Here's what NOT to do.

Around 12:34AM Sunday morning, they assisted the Washington State Patrol with this crash north of Pasco. It seems the Jeep was buzzing along at 70, but the other vehicle was going at least 20-30 mph slower. Deputies didn't elaborate greatly, but did indicate perhaps the Jeep driver ran up on the slower vehicle faster than they thought, and boom!

No word of any injuries, but Deputies say approach slower vehicles, even on the highway, like you would an upcoming red light.  Slow down, proceed with caution, and carefully pass before resuming speed.
