Gasoline Prices Are Giving Us an ’08 Vice Presidential Debate Flashback!

With the Vice Presidential debate looming, Joe Biden might wince over his 2008 words.

Video of the debate between Biden and GOP candidate Sarah Palin shows him complaining how the "average Joe" cannot afford to fill up his gas tank, and how gas prices were too high.

Fast-forward to today. According to AAA, prices at the time of the debate were $3.17 a gallon (that's a national average). Today AAA says prices are $3.82 (Oct. 9 quote) and in California, prices have hit an all-time high of $4.67! Click below to see what Biden had to say four years ago.
