Andrew Kirk has been a journalist for nine years. Although originally from the Tri-Cities, he has lived in Utah for the past 17 years and is a graduate of the University of Utah. He is married with children and currently lives in Richland. He is an amateur historian and used to teach Mandarin Chinese to middle school students in Park City, Utah. For fun he watches movies, visits parks with his kids and occasionally rides a bicycle.

Christmas for Children is an annual toy drive coordinated by local foster care agencies, Ranch & Home, 1st Security Bank Home Lending and other participating businesses. You can help by picking up a holiday gift for kids in foster care (any age) and dropping it off at participating businesses listed below. Stolen Car Chase Ends With Crash into Jefforson Park Gazebo in Richland [PHOTOS]

Richland Police's street crimes unit located a suspected car thief in the 300 block of Van Giesen Street a little after 2 p.m. Wednesday and he gave chase in a stolen Kia Sorento with stolen license plates. When driver Brian Buell, 45, tried to turn around near George Washington Way and Symons Street, he spun out and slammed into the Jefferson Park gazebo.

This guy either has a death wish or is a moron, and since a moron couldn't build something this wicked awesome he obviously needs treatment. Note his lack of a helmet because, let's be honest, it wouldn't help anyway. I doubt it's street legal, but that doesn't stop it from being the manliest thing I've ever seen.
