President Obama, on the heels of the beating he took from Mitt Romney, unleashed a new ad trying to capitalize on Romney's comment he would cut funding for public broadcasting.

The ad featured Big Bird in a jab at Romney, but now the Sesame Street creative team behind the beloved children's icon has told Obama to drop the ad -- now!

PBS officials tied to the show said neither they, nor the show, do any endorsing, nor will they be involved in any sort of political endeavor. Sesame Street officials were not amused by Obama's attempt to use Big Bird to mock Romney. The ads said the GOP candidate should go after Wall Street, not Sesame Street.

Obama's campaign even went as far as to send someone dressed as Big Bird to a Romney campaign stop in rural Virginia. It is amazing how low the Obama campaign will stoop to try to win votes!
