CBC Student Veteran Organization Plans Benefit Drive Nov. 5

The Student Veterans Organization at Columbia Basin College is holding a non-perishable food/household goods drive Nov. 5th at the Richland Wal-Mart on Queensgate.

Especially with the holidays coming up, a number of veterans are in need of assistance in the Mid Columbia.  The Organization will be collecting non-perishable food as well as household items that will be distributed to needy veterans around the region.  It is estimated there are upwards of 100 or more homeless vets in the Tri Cities/Mid Columbia area.  We invite you to support this effort, Saturday November 5th from 9am-7pm at the Richland Queensgate Wal Mart.  For more information call 542-4498 (CBC Washington Vet Corps).
