California recently angered hundreds of thousands of residents by allowing children of illegal aliens to receive in state tuition costs; now Florida is facing a similar situation!

Wendy Ruiz, a junior college student in Miami, is behind the lawsuit.  She was born here in the US, making her a legal citizen, but her parents were illegals.  She claims it is unfair because she has to pay $5,000 more, being charged out of state tuition costs because her parents were not here legally.  It is a hot button issue, and being debated in other states.   Some view it as unfair, because the children are legal US residents.  Supporters of the plan believe it is only fair, because A) the parents knew they were here illegally, and B)  it's just because of the enormous taxpayer costs being spent on services for illegals; especially in the area of social services and even public education.   Ruiz was charged out of state tuition after her parents could not provide legal proof of citizenship.    The controversial leftist group The Southern Poverty Law Center, is helping to provide legal assistance in this case.  This group has direct ties to the militant group La Raza, and has also had it's fingers in numerous other controversial and even reverse-racist activities.
