Northwest League All-Star Game Aug. 6 — Listen Live on Newstalk to Cheer on Tri-City Dust Devils

For the first time in nine years, the Northwest A Baseball League will have an All-Star Game and we will have it here on Newstalk 870 LIVE Aug. 6.

Five of your Tri-City Dust Devils have made the North Division All-Star squad:

• Ryan Warner - Pitcher
• Jiminian Johendi - Pitcher
• Trent Daniel - Pitcher (closer)
• Alex Mehrten - Infield
• Sean Dwyer - Outfield

Daniel will likely be the closer for the North Division if they are in a position to win in the late innings. He leads the entire Northwest League with 10 saves. Dwyer has one of the highest batting averages in the league hitting .373, and Mehrten is at .323.

WSU football radio legend Bob Robertson will help broadcast the game. Your very own Dust Devils radio announcer Chris King will be doing the on-field and dugout interviews during the game and between innings! The game will be played at  Everett Memorial Stadium this year -- home of the Mariner's Northwest League A team, the Aquasox.
