Standout Tri- City Americans goalie Eric Comrie is putting his 'glove' to good use!The Tri-City Americans have announced the kickoff of the Comrie Saves Hunger Drive, to benefit Second Harvest Tri-Cities.

It's pretty simple:  for every save (or shot stopped) by Comrie, he will donate $.50 from his own pocket to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.  The Americans will be matching his donations, dollar-for-dollar.  So far, Comrie has kicked aside 366 shots, and that means $168.00 has been raised at this point in the season.

Comrie, who came to the Americans as the top rated junior goalie prospect in North America, has lived up to his billing,  last weekend stopping 85 shots as the Americans took two games from Kelowna by scores of 3-2.    You can find out more about the Comrie Saves Hunger campaign, and other great Americans community efforts by clicking on the button below.
