Medical Issue Triggers Crash, Morning Commute Snarled

One of the more terrifying incidents would be to have some sort of medical issue while you're behind the wheel of your vehicle.

Fortunately, for an unnamed Kennewick man, he will be OK.  Police and fire units were called to the intersection of Clearwater and Steptoe in West Kennewick shortly before 9am for a report of a crash.

The Dodge Charger pictured here was one of the vehicles involved in the multi-car crash. Police said one of the drivers involved had a medical issue behind the wheel triggering the accident. Authorities didn't say what it was, but the man was transported to TRIOS ER Southridge with minor injuries. The other driver was said to be OK at the scene.
