We've enjoy a mild summer, relatively speaking.  And this fall, so far, not bad. Come Monday, get ready for cold and wet.

The National Weather Service has issued a 'severe weather alert'  in the form of what is called a Special Weather Statement.   For WA and OR, they calling for significant temperature drops starting Monday.   Our highs will plummet into possibly the upper 50's, lows in the upper 30's, and lots of rain.  The NWS says lower elevations could see up to an inch of precip, 2-3 in the mountains, and possibly snow in higher elevations.  Now, to what degree we get hit in the Mid-Columbia will vary.  But do be prepared for very fall-like weather Monday, perhaps as early as late Sunday.  Keep listening to Newstalk 870, and watching here for more details.  And visit our facebook page, and follow us on twitter too.
