Not much of substance has been said by the President when it comes to the Occupy Movements-Wall Street, D.C., Seattle and other cities.  Perhaps it's because it's close to home.

Leave it to Andrew Breitbart to unearth some interesting information from Obama's past.  Twenty years prior to him winning the presidency, Obama was involved with a group called UNO, or United Neighborhood Organization.  According to historical writer Stanley Kurtz in his book 'Radical in Chief-Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism',  Obama helped organize one of the most confrontational events staged by UNO and the DCP, or Developing Communities Project (a group created and organized by Obama).  The group was protesting a proposed expansion of a Waste Management Landfill project on the South Side of Chicago at the time.  The UNO-DCP group forcefully broke into a meeting between bank officials and local community leaders who were discussing making a deal with WM that would be satisfactory to both sides.  According to Kurtz, the group surrounded the table where the officials were meeting and told them "we will fight you every step of the way."  Kurtz, in his book, claims Obama was presumably present at the event.   Obama also helped the group organize similar protests over school reform, and other activities.  It was during these (and later protests in the early 1990's) that Obama came to know and associate with known radical activists including Weather Underground's Bill Ayers; who ironically, is involved with the Occupy Wall Street movement.   These protests first began to come to light during the 2008 campaign when Obama campaign leaders repeatedly denied he had any involvement with Ayers--you may remember that.  But this newer UNO-DCP information was unearthed by Breitbart after extensive investigations.  The Breitbart piece also features a picture of the president attneding an anti-war rally in Chicago in 2002.
