According to numerous political experts and critics, apparently Kitzhaber is coated in "teflon."

That comment stems back from the Ronald Reagan era, when the media constantly tried to pin accusations against the strong Conservative president, but it didn't affect his polling data, or keep him from being re-elected in 1984.    Observers took to calling him the "teflon" President, because nothing "stuck" to him.

Now they're saying the same thing about the controversial, embattled Governor of Oregon.  John Kitzhaber managed to somehow dodge the issues over Oregon's failed Healthcare Exchange,  questionable environmental decisions and other scandals to win a fourth term as the leader of Oregon.

Kitzhaber  signed a non-binding Environmental Pact with Gov. Inslee, CA Gov. Jerry Brown and the Prime Minister of British Columbia, calling for the implementation of costly low-carbon fuels that could raise gas prices as much as $1.00 per gallon, as well as other controversial standards that numerous studies have shown could cripple the economy.

The biggest area he was attacked though, was the complete disaster of the Oregon Health Care Exchange.    The site never went operational,  was fraught with cost overruns, and has actually triggered a Federal criminal investigation into why it failed.  And yet, Kitzhaber was still re-elected.
