Perry Bows Out, Throws Support to Gingrich

Saying the mission was bigger than the man, Texas Gov. Rick Perry has dropped out of the GOP Presidential Race.
He issued a statement of support for Newt Gringrich, saying Newt was a ‘conservative visionary.’ Perry becomes the second candidate in just a few days to pull out; Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman dropped out last week…he has thrown his support behind Mitt Romney. Perry had initially surged to the front of the polls late last summer, but was unable to hold the momentum.
