Hard on the heels of their less than competent ruling on Obamacare,  now the Supreme Court says lying about your war record is protected under free speech.

Veterans groups are geared up for another fight after the Supreme Court ruled lying about your war record, medals won, etc is ok.  The court voted 6-3 that the Stolen Valor Act of 2006 infringes upon free speech.  The law was enacted due to a number of Iraq and Afganistan claims by people who made bogus claims about winning the Medal Of Honor, other awards, or deeds done in battle.

Rep. Joe Heck (R) Nevada, will be sponsoring a new bill in the House that will reverse the vote on the Stolen Valor Bill, and return criminal prosecution for those who falsify (deliberately) their war record.

What do you think? Do you agree with Supreme Court? Take our poll.
