It doesn’t get a lot of press coverage and the banks are still open, but March 23 is National Puppy Day. For the seventh year, we will spend this day reflecting on what it is that we love so much about puppies. Perhaps this is a day we should have more than once a year.

Imagine you’ve lost your dog or cat. Those who’ve been through this heartbreaking experience know you’d do almost anything to get your pet back. And that desire is exactly what makes you a prime target for the lost pet scam.

At first glance, the new Washington State vaccination law that went into effect for dogs, cats and ferrets across WA state January 1st appears to be significant.  But the big question:  how would the state enforce it?

Dogs and cats may be in a perpetual cycle of conflict, but when it comes to who the public loves more, dogs take home the win. According to a survey by Harris Interactive, 69 percent of all pet owners have a dog, trumping the 51 percent who have a cat.
