TC Americans Take 3-2 Series Lead Over Spokane

The Tri City Americans controlled the 3rd and decisive period to take a 5-3 win over Spokane Saturday night at Toyota Center.

After taking a 1-0 lead, Spokane tied the game then took a 2-1 lead.  But behind some key goals from Justin Hamonic, and later, and empty netter from Patrick Holland at the 1:00 mark of the 3rd to seal it, the Americans will head off to Spokane Monday for Game 6.  Should the Am’s win, they will take the series.  If not, game 7 will be Wednesday at Toyota Center.  Make sure to listen in Monday at 6:45 on Newstalk 870!
