Texas Murderer-Rapist Executed

An update to this story we have been tracking on Newstalk870.am about The Obama Administration trying to block the execution of a Mexican National convicted of rape and murder.

Humberto Leal was executed by lethal injection shortly after six pm today, after the Supreme Court refused to delay it.  The Obama Administration believed the execution would harm US-Mexican relations, but Texas Governor Rick Perry refused to budge, saying the judicial system had done its job.
