According to Forbes Magazine,  the NFL franchise with the highest financial value is....

The Dallas Cowboys.  With the highest amount of revenue, operating expenses, and a huge profit margin,  the only pro sports team worth more is soccer team Real Madrid.

Forbes used a series of formulas, ranging from the assessed value of each franchise, revenues, operating expenses, merchandising revenue and other factors.

The Cowboys came in first, and some other franchises that have been successful didn't make the top ten.  The Jets, Texans and Bears were "worth" more than the Denver Broncos, believe it or not.

My team, the Green Bay Packers, came in 13th.   A large part of the reason they're not higher is because they are the only community-owned team in the NFL.   And the only team you can actually buy stock in.   While millions of shares have been sold, at least you can say you own a tiny, tiny percentage of the team.  Selling team stock is how they have been able to help pay for upgrades and improvements over the years at Lambeau Field.

By the way, despite winning the Super Bowl, the Seahawks came in at 15th.    Just about smack-dab in the middle of the NFL.
