It's a good thing he only lost $1,000!

Imagine your joy when you dig out that lottery ticket, check the numbers and think you've won $1,000! But for a North Seattle man it turned into a big let-down!

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, had entered a Veteran's Lottery and thought he'd won until he arrived at the lottery office in Seattle and discovered officials had released the WRONG numbers. A total of 131 bad numbers were posted.

Lottery officials said they cannot honor bad numbers.

But at least this guy was only out a grand. Lottery officials say the 131 bad numbers could potentially affect the $1 million winner! There could be somebody who thinks they're sitting on a million bucks only to find they have a dud ticket. So far, lottery officials say no one has come forward to claim the Veterans Lottery grand prize.
