Two children narrowly escaped a horrible fate in a rollover crash in Pasco Thursday.

The truck apparently struck by another vehicle.

Pasco Police report this pickup was headed east on Three Rivers and Road 76 when it was hit by another vehicle. Police didn't say if the other driver ran a stop sign or light, or specifically what led up to the crash, but it flipped the truck over.

Two small children, ages 12 and 5 were inside, and not restrained. The 12-year-old was ejected, and the 5-year-old was "bounced around" inside, according to Police.

They are the driver's grandchildren. Pasco PD says fortunately they did not suffer any serious injuries. However, the driver was seriously hurt. No word on his current condition.

No word if any citations were issued related to the driving portions of the incident.
