According to sources, the two areas that would lose funding include the Office of River Protection ($61 million) and $169 million from the U.S. Department of Energy's Richland office.

The budget was released Monday, and does total about $2.1 billion for Hanford. According to KING-5 TV, around $3 billion is needed so the Hanford area can continue to meet legally mandated cleanup deadlines.

A line by line, project by project budget layout has not yet been released by the Trump Administration yet.
