Kennewick police say the elderly driver who's blamed for a two car injury DUI accident Thursday morning already had a Failure to Appear warrant for another DUI issue.

Around 9:44am, police responded to the intersection of West Canal and North Volland (hear the railroad underpass) for a report of a two car crash. The minivan pictured was driven by 73-year-old Jonatha Harper. It had crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle. Fortunately, neither driver suffered major injuries, both were medically cleared at the scene.

However, police found Harper was intoxicated, and evidence found inside her vehicle confirmed it. They didn't say if the stain on the armrest was blood, or something else, but you can clearly see the alcohol bottle. She is now in the Benton County jail on suspicion of DUI and the previous FTA charge.
