Abducted Yakima Woman, Infant, Located And In Police Custody

An 18-year-old woman her 18-month-old daughter who were abducted near Union Gap have been located, and are safe. Three suspects are in police custody.

Around 12:15am Monday morning, Yakima police say Margarita Castillo and the child, Susanna Montes De Oca were forced into a blue two-door sports car near 3305 Castlevale Road. The car was last seen entering Highway 97 near Union Gap.

She was believed to be with 19-year-old Oscar Cervantes. However, less than three hours later, the suspect car was located, and Castillo and the child are safe.

Authorities say three suspects in the abduction were arrested, but didn't say if Cervantes was one of them.

The investigation is continuing.
