Pasco Police investigate assault (PPD)

A 40-year-old suspect was arrested after he allegedly used a basebal bat to break another man's arm Tuesday morning.

Police were called to the Tahitian Inn at the corner of 28th and Lewis Streets, and found the man suffering from a broken arm. The victim said there was no apparent reason for the assault, he was surprised.

The suspect, identified as Efrain Valdivia of Pasco, was found in another room in the motel, and arrested on assault charges. Police say security video backed up the victim's account. The bat and other evidence was found by officers in Valdivia's room.
