Can you drink anything other than Pepsi in Benton City?

If you take a quick drive through Benton City, you are bound to find several Pepsi signs.

My brother and father own a water system in Benton City. My father has lived in Benton City for close to eight years. My brother moved to Kennewick from Portland. I guess he's yet to pick up on the charm and quirks of Benton City, because he texted me the other day. He had driven through Benton City to check in on water system customers and noticed nearly every block of town has a Pepsi sign.

But why does the high school's main sign have a Pepsi logo on it? When I went to Southridge High School, the graduating class usually bought something for the school. I think the class of 2009 bought our school blinky sign.

What I want to know is: is it unlawful to drink a Coke in city limits? Do they drink rum & Pepsi? Yuck!

Do you know why Benton City has more Pepsi signs than any other Washington town per capita? I'm all out of ideas as to why.
