Fortunately the pedestrian was hit by a car moving at slow speed and was not seriously hurt. Still, good thing she was literally in front of the hospital.

A woman who was walking in front of Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland Tuesday afternoon was hit by a car that was near the cross walk.  The woman was crossing Swift Boulevard on her way to the center when a teenage girl's car struck her, causing her to fall.

While she didn't sustain serious injuries, she was taken inside and examined as a precaution. No word if the teen driver was cited.
