Authorities are still investigating the discovery of a man's body that was spotted in the river near Two River Park Saturday afternoon.

Franklin County Sheriff's were called to the area around 2pm after a strange object was seen floating in the water.  Marine patrol had found the body after a routine inspection.

The body was badly decomposed and likely been in the water at least two weeks.  The man was between the age of 20 and 40 with brown hair, he also had a tattoo on his upper left chest.

He was wearing gray athletic shorts and white socks.  He was 6' tall and 165" lbs approximately.

Authorities are looking at missing person reports to see if this man's description matches anyone who's gone missing.  They don't think foul play is involved, likely an accidental drowning.
