Just when you think you've heard it all...

Late Wednesday night police were called to the area near 4th and Union in Kennewick, for a report of a car prowl (break-in) in progress. The woman who called said the suspect had broken into her car, eaten some take-out food she had just put there, and was asleep behind the wheel.

The woman had apparently taken the food to her car, and left briefly, and upon her return, the suspect was inside.

Police say 46-year-old Paul McVay of Richland was taken into custody where he's facing various charges. Police say there's no connection in any way between the victim and the suspect.

At least he will get some food in jail, and won't have to break in to cars to eat.
