Christmas Spirit Defeats a Kennewick Home Invasion Robbery
An armed man went into the home of a 70-year-old Kennewick woman on Saturday looking to rob her.
He showed her a handgun, threatened to shoot her and demanded money, according to Kennewick police.
She told him she didn’t have any, and he walked through her house looking through her things.
The suspect finished and apologized for ruining her Christmas then left without taking anything.
The 5-foot tall man with a slim build, wearing a dark color hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and cold weather mask was last seen walking in the 100 block of North Zinser Street at 5:44 p.m. on Dec. 23.
